2018 – Building on the foundation laid in 2017

2017 was a watershed year for me as I stopped being afraid to dare to achieve the big dreams I have harboured for years.

There were many highlights including growth and change in my career, establishing a network marketing business, achieving Competent Communicator status through Toastmasters International, launching my public speaking career and facilitating conversations at major events, launching my personal blog, committing to a healthier lifestyle, and obtaining an MBA at Henley Business School. The best include:

  1. Obtaining an MBA was emotional and took me back to when I began my journey. I did not have enough money to pay for it and approached my then employer for funding. My request for funding was turned down but I didn’t give up and applied for a student loan. After all my handwork I am happy to say that in 2017 I completed the MBA.
  2. Launching my health and lifestyle business, as a distributor of American-based health and nutrition company, a world leader in Aloe Vera based products across the health, fitness, wellness and cosmetic markets was a BIG deal. I have always aspired to be an entrepreneur from a young age and launching my business was a looong awaited dream come true. I decided to do it and saw God’s hand on many occasions. He was faithful and carried me throughout the year.

Both highlights reinforced that I can achieve anything by sheer focus and hard work. I am glad I did not take no for an answer, or quit when times were tough.

I am excited for 2018 and hope you are too. My goals are set, my plan of action is written and my commitments have been made. I am working hard to take my business to the next level – and I will do it!!!! I am ready for the next challenge and cannot wait for the journey. I know exactly what I need to do to achieve my goals. My goals are ambitious, huge and although they will stretch me, are achievable.

Am I scared of failure? Yes my fear of failure will motivate me to work hard and not fail. Am I excited? Yes – definitely more EXCITED than afraid. My God is more than capable and I know that through him I will achieve my goals. I will work with and empower more people with the knowledge they need to achieve their own goals. What are your goals? No one and nothing should stop you from achieving your dreams.

How badly do you want to achieve your goals? Go for what you want. Nothing stops me…and nothing should stop you.

I am willing to work with you to focus to make 2018 unforgettable.
